In partnership with Franklin County Department of Job and Family Services (JFS) & the Workforce Development Board of Central Ohio (WDBCO), YouthBuild Columbus is proud to offer a free High School Diploma, Career Technical Education in Construction, Healthcare and Business, and Coaching for Central Ohioans looking to make a positive impact on their life.
We’re Here to Help
The purpose of AMP is help out-of-school youth between the ages of 16-22 earn a high school diploma, enter a career pathway, gain work experience and attain long-term self-sufficiency. Eligible participants will be paired with a YouthBuild Columbus AMP Coach who services as a hands-on, personal advocate.
Each coach will build a personalized plan to connect the participant to holistic support services, provide assistance in life training, learning new skills, and work experience through paid job shadowing, on the job training and pre-apprenticeship programs.
Qualifications:
- Youth 16- 22 years old
- Resides in Franklin County
- Not currently enrolled in a high school
- Meets income guidelines
